Heather grew up on the Canadian West Coast near the BC mountains of Vancouver. As a child, her family enjoyed many local trails and lakes. Her fondest memory is reading in the family tent during a thunderstorm.

Her love of the outdoors has continued into adulthood as Heather continues to venture onto local trails with her own family.
